How to create an unforgettable Exchange experience?

Would you like to see what a Slovenian school looks like? Do you want to teach Slovenian children about your home country? How to make your favourite food or play your national sport?

The World in Classroom is a project coordinated by LLP National Agency with aim to bring together international students with Slovenian schools.

International students can work as teacher assistant, carry out a project with the class, gives a lecture on a certain topic depending on what you and teacher want. You can attend language classes or history, geography, cooking lessons or participate with photo/painting exhibition, blog, music (depend on your wishes and possibilities in schools)...

If you’re interested in participating you can apply at  LLP National agency Slovenia – CMEPIUS.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation and a small gift.

Application procedure

1. Fill in the online application form.
2. After sending the form, you will receive a confirmation email with further information. We will try to find a suitable school for you to visit. You will receive responsible teacher’s contact information (and vice versa).
3. The responsible teacher will contact you and together you can agree the time and the content of the visit.
4. Prepare the content of your visit: What will you present – your country, culture, food, music, etc.; What are the biggest differences between your home country and Slovenia?; Why did you decided for international exchange?; Why Slovenia?; Do you have any promotional materials you can use (photos, brochure,etc.)etc.
5. Visit school on time and after the visit ask the responsible teacher to sign the document Confirmation of participation.
6. Send the document confirmation of participation to CMEPIUS with short description of your visit at school (impact, experience,...).
7. Once we have received your document, we will send you the gift.
