Erasmus Student Mobility for Placements


ERASMUS Student Mobility for Placements enables students to gain practical experience in foreign country. That experience should improve their employability, competitiveness on the labour market, bring new ideas, skills and competences, whether they be professional, cultural, linguistic or personal.

Who can apply and for how long?

Students registered at a higher education institution holding an ERASMUS University Charter. Duration of mobility for placements is between 3 to 12 months or at least a full academic trimester/term. Minimum duration of mobility for students in short-cycle higher vocational education is 2 months.

How to apply?

Student has to contact the international office and/or ERASMUS office of his or her home higher education institution. The office will inform him or her of the possibilities of practice abroad as well as the modalities to apply and to receive an ERASMUS grant.

Language barriers

Before the start of the placement period an ERASMUS student in Slovenia may follow an ERASMUS Intensive Language Course (EILC).
